WHO WE ARE

"We Believe That By Unpacking The Burdens Of The Past, Women Can Embrace The Present And Step Confidently Into Their Future."

Founded in 2019 and opened to the public in 2020, Providential Care: Center for Mental Wellness emerged during a time of uncertainty. Yet, through resilience and grace — our guiding principles — we have flourished. While our commitment to promoting mental wellness remains steadfast, our vision has evolved. Today, our primary focus is on empowering women by helping them heal inner child wounds, build self-confidence, and nurture self-esteem. We believe that by unpacking the burdens of the past, women can embrace the present and step confidently into their future. This transformative journey is made possible through our signature program: Lost and Found: Self-Esteem Program.

OUR STORY

Lost and Found tells a story of divine purpose and personal growth. What started in 2011 as a graduate project transformed into a children's book, "Lost and Found: Journey to Self-Discovery." Originally an academic endeavor, the positive feedback from peers inspired me to publish it in 2014.

What I did not anticipate was how deeply the story would resonate with adult women. Time and time again, women shared how the book brought healing and clarity to their own life experiences. Their stories planted the seed for something greater. In 2019, that seed blossomed into the Lost and Found Self-Esteem Workbook, now the foundation of the self-esteem groups I facilitate. Through this program, I have come to see how God’s hand was in every step — using what once felt like a simple project to offer healing to others. Today, Lost and Found exists to guide women in confronting their inner child wounds and rediscovering their worth..

Providential Care is in my personal journey, blending my passion for mental wellness, creativity and self-esteem. I aim to offer women evidence-based therapeutic tools alongside opportunities for healing through artistic expression and spiritual growth.
